Certification simply means that a participant has successfully completed all the requirements of Seeking the Spirit Within in preparation for the ministry of spiritual direction.

At that time, anyone who proceeds with this ministry is strongly encouraged to enroll for Supervision through the Institute on an annual basis, and must continue meeting with a spiritual director. If these requirements are met, your name and contact information will be posted on the Seeking the Spirit Within web site. It is still up to you to hold appropriate discussions with all directees and to conduct regular assessment of the fit of director to directee.
