• Obtain and submit an application (The next group is scheduled to begin on August 28, 2012.)
  • Obtain reference forms to be submitted by applicant’s pastor and one other person from within your faith community
  • Obtain and submit forms for required background check
  • Participate in a personal interview with the Director and one Board member
  • Engage in one-on-one relationship with a Certified Spiritual Director, preferably for one year prior to application
  • Commitment to continued individual spiritual direction during the two-year program
  • Computer literacy and access for participation with on-line discussion board

 

Costs

One-time Application fee (non-refundable) – $50.00
Tuition (ELCA) – $900.00 per term for 4 terms – $3,600.00 total
Tuition (Non-ELCA) – $1,100.00 per term for 4 terms – $4,400.00 total

Cost of books, individual spiritual direction, travel, and any incurred computer costs are the responsibility of each participant.
